Jerusalem Island - so called after a house of that name which once stood in the middle of the road junctions. The fossil is a plesiosaur discovered in 1851 and is locally known as the "Barrow kipper".

Out viaI.13 to Strancliffe Lane, I.5, I.12, I.14a and I.4 to Walton. Refreshment stop at the Anchor returning via I.4 to Cream Lodge, I.32 & Brook Lane.
